I love it when we're cruising together ♩♪♫♬

Instead of the usual Ho Chi Minh tour, where they bring you to the tunnels (and the holes in the ground) where the Vietnamese used to hide out during the war, we decided to take a cruise along the Mekong Delta river (that lasted almost the whole day).

The day started out with the 14 of us (yes, we were a group of 14 friends traveling together) heading over to ride a bus with other tourists that were also going on the cruise.

Taylor Swift in Vietnam! Okay, not really. Just a look-alike that was part of our tour group.

Our (main) mode of transportation for the day.

We had lunch at one stop, and the spring rolls were the main attraction.

This is the elephant's ear fish. Sounds weird, but they named it that because of the shape of the fish (and not for any other gross reason haha).

Top: Cholo's "I'm driving the boat!" game face.
Bottom: Cholo's "Okay the boat isn't really moving" hehehe face

For the second to the last leg of the cruise, we took a rowboat and a Vietnamese woman (gondolier-style) rowed us down the river. The wacky part of it all was that we got stuck with a weak rowboat driver, and the boys had to paddle to help her get us to where we had to go.

All in all, it was a good experience. An adventure that we probably wont be doing again, but an adventure nonetheless
