A few days (and food blog reviews) later, we gave in to our cravings and decided to head to Tomas Morato.
Love how they stock up on soda and juice drinks that arent normally served in restaurants here.
If the ribs look extremely yummy in the picture, trust us, they taste ten times better in real life. We ordered the Super Duo (ribs platter for two), which came with two side dishes. Decided to try the potato and the spinach, although if I had my way I probably would have asked for a huge, heaping serving of rice ☺ Thought all that food would be enough, but with our appetites (read: we are bottomless pits), we ended up ordering another dish. And dessert.
This beef dish that they serve, the Rub Beef, is (in my opinion) even more addictive than their ribs. I'm not such a huge bread person but those pieces of garlic bread dipped in the Rub Beef sauce is HEAVEN. The buttered vegetables that are served on the side complements everything so well. I can go on and on about this dish ;) Since then, we've ordered it every time we eat at Rub.
The Fried Oreos are nothing great, theyre basically just like the ones served in Flaming Wings.
Another visit to Rub, this time we brought my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew to try it out.
This is the Family Brunch platter, which serves 4. We also ordered the smoked pork belly, just to give another dish on their menu a try. This is the one dish that Hawaiian Bar-B-Que gets points for. The Rub version was really nothing amazing.
Another random date night, where we had our staple order of the baby back ribs and the Rub beef.
Writing this entry is tortuuuuuuuure! I want me some Rub ribs right now!!!
