National Museum
To see Juan Luna's Spoliarium has been something we've wanted to do for a while now, and on one lazy Sunday we made the trip to Manila to finally check that off of our list.

Candylicious
Anyone who knows us knows that we LOVE sweets. Candies, chocolate - you name it, we'll eat it.
Literally a kid in a candy store
It goes without saying that Candylicious was HEAVEN for us.
S.E.A. Aquarium
One of the places we really wanted to visit was the S.E.A Aquarium - the world's second largest aquarium.

Haji Lane
One of the places we've been, to that has been our absolute favorite, is Pub Street in Cambodia.
Haji Lane is Singapore's version of Pub Street.

Not the usual Tagaytay trip
Tagaytay trips for us usually mean = staying in for movie marathons, lunches and dinners out at Pamana and Hawaiian BBQ, and basically just a chance to take a breather and escape from work/Manila traffic/reality.
This particular trip was a whole lot different though.

Manila Eats: Chocolate Buffet at The Pen
There are only 68 days left 'til Christmas! It kind of feels like 2015 just started, and now we're down to the last few months of the years. It's crazy how time flies.
Aside from our birthdays and anniversary, Christmas is our favorite holiday. It's so magical how everything seems extra happy around Christmastime. We get to spend more time with our families, balikbayans come home, we see our friends more, and its also another opportunity for us to show each other how much we care ♥

One of the (if not the only) amusement parks in the Philippines is Enchanted Kingdom, which opened in 1995 and is located in Santa Rosa, Laguna - about an hour's drive away from Manila.

Our Travel Must Haves
If I had my way, I'd bring the contents of my entire closet with me on every trip.
As with most couples, one of the things Cholo and I disagree on every time we travel is the amount of suitcases/items I bring (and whether or not I really do need all of it). My logic has always been that you never really know what you'll need, and it's always better to be prepared. I would say it's a losing battle on his end though, as I always end up getting my way (and also end up using his baggage allowance allocation hehehe).

Senado Square and Ruins of St. Paul's
Senado Square, part of the UNESCO Historic Centre of Macau World Heritage Site.
Also known as Largo do Senado, as Macau used to be a European colony under Portugal.
Macau day trip and The Venetian
Macau is a mere 1 hour and 30 minute ferry boat ride away from Kowloon, making it the perfect day trip spot.

A Disney Christmas
Christmas time is the most magical time of the year. Imagine mixing all that warmth and fuzziness with the happy buzz of Disneyland?
Toy Story Land
Three of Cholo's favorite movies ever are the movies in the Toy Story franchise. So you can imagine how excited he was about this part of Disneyland.
Woody and Slinky on our tickets!
Hong Kong Disneyland
Every child who grew up watching and loving the Disney classics has 1 dream:
To visit "The Happiest Place On Earth".
To visit "The Happiest Place On Earth".
The journey to happiness starts here.
Ocean Park
Was excited to check out Ocean Park to see if it still looked like what I remembered from my childhood.

HK Eats: KFC
In keeping with our fast food travel tradition, our HK trip wouldn't have been complete without a meal at KFC.
KFC egg tarts are love.

HK Eats: Din Tai Fung
On our list of must-tries: this Michelin star restaurant known for its xiao long bao.
Had to wait in line for this, which did not bode well for our wallets (read: we were hangry and over-ordered).
