Manila Eats: Slice

Was dying to try this place out after hearing so many rave reviews about it. After one random lunch out at High Street, we were deciding where to have dessert and luckily we remembered Slice!

With so many yummy desserts to choose from, we had such a hard time deciding! Spent so long going back and forth on what to order. In the end, we decided to go with the waiter's recommendation, their best-seller - the Double Choco Yema.

Ahhhhh, heaven. Its so rich, we decided to just share a slice.

Being the pigs that we are, we also decided to try one of their light meals - the macaroni and cheese. When it arrived at our table, we were a bit disappointed because first, the serving wasn't that big. And second, it looked just like the instant mac and cheese that comes in a box.

Thankfully, it tasted A LOT better than it looked. Waaaaay better. And the reason why the serving is that small is probably because it tastes really rich and theres the presence of that 'umay' factor after a couple of bites.
