The past few days have been busy (and have gone by in a blur too!), considering that it was a long weekend. We were stuck in Manila (boo, work) but that didn't stop us from finding stuff to do :)
The morning of Easter Sunday was spent at our church, Christ The King. Since 2008, our DWTL community has organized the easter egg hunt for the kids of the parish. For the past five years, we've been running around the garden of the church, under the hot sun, 'hiding' eggs. I say 'hiding' because the funny thing about our egg hunt is that the eggs are in plain sight (there aren't that many bushes/plants to hide the eggs in) haha. We've also seen dozens of competitive yayas, kids with intense egg-hunting strategies, and the best part (in my opinion) - kids that literally grow up before our eyes. These are our suki kids that have joined us since the start and that we've seen grow up :)

A way of keeping ourselves entertained while waiting for the egg hunters - playing catch with the eggs! That's Chris and Cholo goofing off while the mass was going on inside the Church.

More egg tossing fun! Camille and Cholo this time :)
My 'official role' every year is to go around with a bag of eggs for the kawawa kiddos that don't find anything (awwww).

The best part about this year's egg hunt? Gabby finally being big enough to run around and hide eggs with us! Okay, technically he didn't really hide them. He tossed them in all directions and ran around with them lang hehe.
That's Carlo and Cholo 'controlling' the crowd, right before the go signal.
Evolution of Gabriel. Easter 2010, Easter 2011 and Easter 2012 :)
These cutie twin girls that join the egg hunt every year! Easter 2010 and Easter 2012
